My Love of Books
I’ve loved thrillers and mysteries since I was a child. Yes, it really was Enid Blyton and The Famous Five who started it all.
In my teens I moved on to Le Carré, Frederick Forsyth and so many other great thriller writers. At that time, my absolute favourite was Robert Ludlum – The Matarese Circle captivated me. I read it over and over again for the pace, the intrigue and the characters. I also loved his Jason Bourne Series.
My next big thriller hero was – you guessed it – Lee Child. Is there a character more memorable than Jack Reacher? I’ve read all the books Lee Child has written in the series and love the books for their pace, thrills and the writing style.
Over the years, I’ve read widely in the thriller genre, alongside the classics, literary fiction, romantic suspense, fantasy and more. If you push me for more favourite authors, I’ll mention Nora Roberts, Robert Galbraith, Greg Hurwitz and Rebecca Yarros. But they’re the tip of the iceberg. I just adore books. And I adore reading.
After many years writing my own stories, I’m excited that my debut thriller is out now!
Dead Liar is a fast-paced, high-stakes thriller with a breathtaking twist. As one woman's personal betrayal collides with a global conspiracy you'll be on the edge of your seat until the final heart-stopping pages.
