Misfits is out now!

Here is Misfits - your 9-track album with 7 bonus digital tracks. It's in my store now!

Released 11th March 2025.

It's release time again and this one is exciting and a bit different.

There are nine tracks on the Misfits CD. These are the last of my own songs from those professional recordings at Lime Tree Studios back in 1999-2001.

But there is more…

You’ll also receive seven bonus digital home recordings.

Please know that these home recordings are twenty-five plus years old and recorded on poor equipment in my bedroom. Great times! The songs have been improved by an audio engineer but they are still of their time. I’ve included versions which I was practising for the studio but didn’t get to complete - I know some of your favourites are there. I think you’ll enjoy these little pieces of my music history. Also, the lyrics & artwork PDF booklet is essential reading for this album with song stories and extra information.

Reviews of Ruth Nina Welsh's Misfits:

“ Beautifully Sung And Played. Ruth possesses a wonderful voice, her songs are filled with emotion, sometimes they are passionate, sometimes melancholy, always heartfelt with depth of feeling." (David Ackroyd)

“I had been eagerly awaiting this album, and was not disappointed. Everything I had come to expect from this wonderful artist. An amazingly controlled, ethereal voice so full of emotion as she sings her own songs, fabulously original lyrics and accompanied by herself on piano and, or guitar reflecting the vocals so well." (John D)
