The Acoustic Covers Collection is out now!

My 14-track album The Acoustic Covers Collection is in my store now!

Released 1st November 2025.

After six years of music releases, the final CD from my Lime Tree Studios Recordings is here!

You may not know the full story, but these recordings were made during 1999-2001, when I was still well enough to play, perform and record my music. I’ve been releasing these professional studio recordings since 2019 and these are the last songs I have to share from that time.

As always, the amazing artwork is from Tanya Gordeeva. The orange and cream is such a lovely palette. We took some of the black and white photos I had from 2000 and this is where we ended up!

Mum absolutely loved these songs. She heard me play them so many times before I recorded them at the studio. She didn’t see this artwork but she would have approved these colours. I’m sure she would have been thrilled with this release as she always found these songs special. I hope you feel the same.

Reviews of Ruth Nina Welsh's Covers Collection:

“ Beautiful Covers Of Hit Songs. I have the originals of most and heard all of these songs. Ruth covers them beautifully. Piano and Acoustic Guitar played delicately and Ruth's vocals suit every song, gentle on some and soaring on others, Every Time We Say Goodbye moved me to tears. Ruth's singing and playing is very emotional as I've found on all of her albums. 'Covers' is a triumph" (David Ackroyd)

"Have listened to this on repeat since it arrived thru the letterbox, So many beautiful songs done in Ruth's inimitable style. Her voice not only oozes with emotion as she sings but you would think that the songs were written for her, her performance is exceptional. A superb vocal is backed by the understated piano/guitar played by Ruth herself. My new favourite album.” (John Dyhouse)
